I was outside of my house, to the west, with a group of others, in a field in place of my next door neighbor’s house. We were watching a group of airplanes, single file, coming from the south. At first they seemed identical until they got closer. I commented that one was phallic-like as it passed overhead. Although I’d prefer to use the word “buzzed” I don’t recall any noise, so that wouldn’t be appropriate. The planes suddenly, drastically lost speed while their altitude decreased significantly, and they were now hundreds of feet above us, somehow still in the air defying the law of gravity. We all knew something was wrong, and a few words were spoken in response, although I don’t specifically recall what they were. Probably something equivalent to “oh noes!” One of the planes crashed and the pilot fell to her death. My tech support counterpart, one of the group members, picked up her dead body, which was really more of a pile of brown goop, and put her in the outdoor trashcan.

Strangely, that morning (before the dream), I saw a bird’s wing on the carport. Irony as its best. It was still there this morning and I’ll take a picture when I get home if I remember to. Could the wing have spawned this dream or is it a coincience?
