This is the default category. Nothing should be here!

What a great headline.

Speaking of urinals, about a fifth of the time I visit the second floor men’s room here at the office, I’m faced with a shallow pool of a dark yellow, foamy bladder juice, left on display as some sort of trophy, eagerly awaiting the appreciation of the next unsuspecting visitor. (How’s that for being influenced by Stanhope?)

When I’m faced with this small, yet irritating obstacle, I habitually left-kick the flush valve and swing my momentum backwards to avoid potential splashy badness, in one fell swoop. You know, so I don’t have to make skin contact with it.

Each time this I witness this phenomenon, I ask myself “WHY?” Did my trophy comment get close to the truth behind this mystery, or is the culprit germophobic and afraid of making contact with the flush valve, similar to myself (well, besides the germophobic part)? If the later case, I’m willing to share with him my momentum kick technique.

P.S. This is sort of an attempt at humor and entertainment. I’ve added an “Observations” Category for this post. If viewer demand warrants it, I’ll add more Observations, rather than mind numbing Archive and Hardware posts.

Time offset

It’s 11:04 PM on 02-17-2007 and I just published the second of the last two posts. Note the date difference. Looks like I need to adjust the blog time by an hour.

Yes, the text at the bottom-right of the package reads that. On the back, you can catch the tpyo “autmatic”. If you subscribe to Karma, you’ll be glad to know that I had spelled the title “8 FANTASCIC LIGHTS” and didn’t catch it until after 3 Post updates.

This is what $19 store credit at Discount Electronics gets you. $9 gets you blue miniature Christmas lights, basically, which I was going to settle on, until I spotted this whilst browsing their warez. $19 also gets you a 100 foot cat 5 cable, which is a great deal.

Enough plugging DE – Pr0j3kT N3o 70ky0, welcome your new member. I wonder if it’s all show and no go.

Oh, the LED in the middle cycles through green, red, blue and light blue, in a handful of patterns.

Brother’s reaction was “WHY?” This reminds me, I need to attach that network cable to the switch. He’s been using 802.11 g and it hasn’t been stable.

Feedback?

So, liek, what does everyone think of my blog so far? No questions about that awesome header image? What about this theme, compared to the others I’ve tried? Content? Of course, I’m sure the computer-related posts are boring, but perhaps one day someone sharing similar frustrations will stumble here and find that kind of stuff interesting. Any requests? Although I haven’t made many personal posts, if that kind of stuff tickles your fancy, let me know and I’ll see what I can do.

BTW, this picture was taken at the Dungen show at Emo’s, by the bassist.

Hello TANOFA

I’m still here and not going anywhere. This won’t be abandoned any time soon. Plenty of content is anxiously awaiting to be transferred from my tangled mind to my thin fingers.

Feel free to leave a comment in this post to motivate me to get around to spending more time here.

Also, I welcome any customer-driven topics you’d like me to write about.
