I want to verify nodes are up and running and that they are seen and just waiting for selection.
Is there an easy way to do this? I looked and didn’t see any instructions for new node owners.

The official way is on your app. Just leave the Node itself. Sometime you will get this message: “Fix it”, it’s time to follow this instruction: "Fix it" message and a way to troubleshoot
However, I see that there a tool developed by a community member. You can do a research and contact them for further guidance.
